material - artwork formatMaterial must be supplied digitally in Mac format with a colour proof. We prefer high resolution print ready PDF files but can accept Quark, Illustrator and Photoshop files with colour proofs. Sizes specified are trim sizes. For full page advertisements, allow 5mm bleed all round and keep copy 10mm in from all trim edges. For double page spreads allow 6mm gutter, 5mm bleed all round and keep copy 10mm in from all trim edges. Resolution of images supplied must be above 300dpi. tSm Publishing will reject artwork if it contains TrueType fonts, fonts which have not been embedded or elements saved in RGB or LAB colour mode instead of CMYK.
tSm Publishing cannot take responsibility for accurate reproduction of digital files if they are supplied as a compressed PDF, a 3DAP proof is not supplied with the digital file, the file supplied is created from applications other than Adobe Acrobat Distiller, or above PDF version 1.3 or if fonts are artificially stylised.
Material must be sent by due date to address stated for advertising production.
Rates specified do not include production, conversion or disk copying costs. The exception is Marketplace ads. Marketplace ads include production from transparency, words & base design supplied by advertiser.
