Here's one of DJ Eddy's last letters....
BEST JOB Eddy, you need to settle this argument for us. I have always thought patrolling would be the best job on the mountain because you get to move around all the time but my mates argue that instructors have the most fun because they get to, well, interact withe public. But then, maybe the dark horse is the dish pig, who works at night and gets to ski all day. What do you reckon? JEAN-CLAUDE SAVEYER
DJ Eddy says: Jean-claude, you tripper, where are you getin your info? patrollers just hang out eatin soup all day. some of the grey army patrol at hotham have strapped skis onto their office chairs so they dont have to stand up on the way to the wreck. as you know my chosen profession is a ski instructor and interaction with the feline snow bunny is in the front of my mind from early morning till the bar shuts. as far as washin pots, i dont do it, i throw my dirty plates out the window and the snow covers em up. they're so cheap now i just get new ones. i guess dish pigs work at night and get freshies, but they dont pull chicks cause they stink. just keep playin the stock market jean claude. ski all day party all night, love dj eddy.
